Wear Resistant Steel
Wear Resistant Steel increases payload and service life in tough environments. It’s combination of strength, hardness and toughness makes it stand up to extreme wear. And the workshop friendliness cuts production costs. Advice from our experts helps maximize wear life and the product comes as a complete package including people, expertise and more.
Duplex & Super Duplex
A widely used Duplex steel combining high strength and corrosion resistance in various organic acids, anorganic acids, aggressive cooling waters and hydrous H2S/NaCl mixtures. With a near equal mix of austenite and ferrite, they give yield strength 30% higher and tensile strengths marginally higher than comparable nitrogen-containing austenitics. High resistance to general corrosion and specifically to pitting and crevice corrosion. Their resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in neutral chlorides is superior to that of the austenites.
UNS S32750 (2507)or commonly known as Super Duplex is a super ferritic-austenitic grade with high mechanical properties and superior corrosion resistance. Besides the ferritic-austenitic structure, 2507 has an excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion and is therefore particularly suitable for sea water applications and for process systems on off-shore platforms, respectively in all situations where there is a risk of stress corrosion.
Stainless Steel
Any of various steels alloyed with at least 10 percent chromium and sometimes containing other elements and that are resistant to corrosion or rusting associated with exposure to water and moist air.
Titanium
Titanium is lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant and abundant in nature
