Wear Resistant Steel
Due to the combination of high hardness, high strength and good toughness, wear resistant plate is the obvious choice for applications in which wear had previously often given rise to problems. The high wear resistance of the plate increases the useful life of components such as tipper bodies, excavator buckets, crushing mills and similar equipment.
The hardness of the plate is achieved by effective quenching in water quenching line & oil quenching line. This method enables high hardness to be achieved in spite of a low content of alloying elements in the steel. The resulting wear plate is easy to machine, bend and weld.
